Philip Hurd
Head of School
Philip came to ICS in 1990 after teaching for 6 years in 3 different continents. An experienced and successful academic leader, he believes that the true celebration of the diversity of our school is its greatest source of strength and endless fascination.

Megan Mitchell
Secondary Head Teacher
Megan joined Skola' International Community School in 1990 after 10 years working in English state education. She is an energetic person, whose love of sport includes horse riding, tennis and squash as well as skiing. She is also a keen cinema and theatre-goer and loves travelling.

Michelle O'Connell
Primary Head Teacher
Michelle O'Connell is of Irish descent and has lived in London, Germany, Japan and Italy. Michelle believes in bringing out the unique potential of each child in her care within a happy and supportive environment that presents constant challenges and opportunities.

Brenda Murray
Director of English Language Tuition
Brenda has been working in education since 1981, combining teaching and
studying with administration and management. Entering the world of
English language teaching enabled her to cross the thresholds of education
systems in Ireland, England and Spain.

Stuart Pollard
Director of Studies
I enjoy travelling and experiencing different cultures. I have worked in Spain, Hungary, Portugal and the Maldives, as well as the UK. Living and working in London is an international experience. So many nationalities and cultures are mixed together. London life is quite unique, and that's why I love it!
